“Momma Holly,” Dylan said and ran to her, almost knocking her over, hugging her tight.

Frosty couldn’t help but smile as they sat on the ground together just talking, till her parents and grandparents came into the room with a dog.

“Service?” he asked and her mother nodded.

“Just for him,” her mother said and released the dog. At once the dog came beside Holly and Dylan.

“I know this isn’t your doggie, but Bax needs a little boy just like you,” Holly said.

Frosty held his breath, watching Dylan stare at Bax. Both dog and child waited, until Dylan held out his small hand. It was amazing, feeling the connection between the dog and Dylan as soon as Bax laid his head down, placing it under Dylan’s hand.

The smile on Dylan’s face as he wrapped his arms around him let Frosty know that their bond would be a life time one.

He rose. “Dylan are you hungry, have you eaten?” he asked.

The boy looked up. “Bologna sandwich?” he asked and Frosty frowned.

“Bologna?” he looked at Holly, who laughed.

“It’s Dylan’s favorite sandwich. Sorry, he hasn’t had your cooking before. Give him time, I’m sure he’ll love it,” Holly said, going to Frosty him and wrapping her arms around him.

At once Frosty felt calm at her touch. “Thank you,” he said into her ear.

“Don’t do that. We could all feel your need, Keane. From what mom has told me, moving back to the old world takes a lot out of men after they have found their wives.” She placed a kiss on his chest, before pulling his head down and covering his mouth.

Frosty wrapped his arms around her, sliding his hands under her sweater, touching her skin, kissing her, tasting her, until he felt someone slid in-between them.

They broke the kiss and looked down to see Dylan smiling up at them. “What would you like to do now? Eat or see your new bedroom?” Frosty asked.

Frosty smiled as the little guy got a serious look on his face, thinking. “Both,” he finally said.

Holly laughed. “Okay Daddy. You are on. One sandwich to go. But first, Dylan, I need to introduce you to your grandparents.” Holly took his hand and came over to her parents as their king came over and squeezed his shoulder.

“I’ve decided that your father will be placed in the quiet section until we can find his soras. It’s best for him to stay there. Your mother—their bond has been broken.”

Holly came back over with Dylan. “I was thinking about that. What about giving your mother my condo? Since we don’t need both places it could be our Christmas gift to her.”

He reached over and cupped her cheek. “You are an amazing woman. I think it would be perfect, but are you sure?”

“Absolutely, it’s time you and she get to know each other again. Plus, she has a grandson now to keep her busy. Did you know your mother told Dylan all about you as a child, showed him pictures of his daddy when he was small?”

“Really?” He frowned. “But how? I never saw…” He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “Okay, one sandwich coming up, but you have to eat something else with it,” he said.

Her grandfather laughed and took Dylan into his arms. “I am Grandpa and I have a present for you.” Frosty heard him say as he headed into the kitchen frowning at the idea of giving a bologna sandwich to his son.

Frosty knew he had his work cut out when it came to his son, when it came to the right food. He shook his head. “Bologna, yuck.”

  Chapter Fifteen

Holly laughed at Dylan playing on the floor next to her as she sorted out Keane’s mail. They had taken off two days getting Dylan settled in his new room. As far as Holly was considered, Keane was her husband, she didn’t need a human ceremony even though Keane had told her he’d be happy to have one. But she had told him no, she wanted to concentrate on their family and Dylan. However, they had agreed to inform every one of their human friends that they had been married. And now they had to plan for the dinner for the homeless tonight.

Flyers have been put up and the biggest hall they could rent was now being set up for tonight. Mark and Keane had gone way above and beyond helping her. She smiled, remembering this morning at breakfast.

Dylan had loved Keane’s French toast and bacon, but he still wanted his bologna for lunch which was driving her soras crazy. He just couldn’t understand why his son loved bologna. She smiled and shook her head when the elevator dinged and Mary from the warehouse came in, smiling.

“So, how goes married life?” she asked, peeking around the corner at Dylan waving at him.

“It’s taking all of us time to get used to each other, but we’re doing well. So, what can I help you with? You should be on your way to your families, shouldn’t you?” Holly asked.

The older woman smiled. “I’m on my way now, but wanted to let you know that we just got done loading the truck and sent it off to the hall. Each person coming to your dinner will have new socks, winter coats and a blanket.”

Holly got up and came around the desk, giving the woman a big hug. “Thank you, and tell everyone thank you for me. I’ll make sure the boss puts a little something special in everyone’s paycheck the next time.”

“Really and why would I do that?” Keane asked, coming up behind her, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her neck.

“Because your fine crew just loaded up a truck of winter coats, socks and blankets for tonight. Each person who comes will have something.” Holly turned and smiled up at him.

“Well, then by all means a special something should go in their checks. Thank you, Mary. Now, go home to your family. After the dinner, we’ll be going to spend the holiday with our families too. No one should be in the building tonight.”

“You know, this is the first Christmas you have done this? I do believe your wife has made our boss’ life complete. Merry Christmas you two.” Mary laughed as Dylan once more came over and pushed in-between them, hugging onto Holly.”

Mary stepped into he elevator and Holly tuned to stare down at her two men. It would seem neither of them could be away from her for a long time. “So, is everything all caught up? I put the mail in the bag there and wrote down all the incoming messages that we had. Also, the security crew have been alerted that we will be gone for the week.”

Keane leaned down and lifted Dylan up into his arms. “I don’t know how lucky I got, but every day I thank the fates for putting you two in my life. Are we ready?” he asked, and she nodded.

“Mom will pick up Dylan in a few hours before everyone starts coming? But I thought Dylan would like to see what we are doing. Right, little guy?” Holly asked and he smiled, Bax at their legs waiting.

“Well then let’s go?” Keane said reaching over and grabbing the bag she had packed.

“You know I could have carried that. You have Dylan in your arms.” Holly said and he smiled.

“Grab Dylan’s things and I can manage fine.” He kissed her cheek as they stepped into the elevator with Bax following.

“Oh, I called security at my old place and gave them your mother’s information so we are all set there. I just want to do a quick run through before we leave tomorrow to go to my brother’s,” Holly said.

“Are you sure you want to leave most of that furniture? We can put some of mine in your condo for your mom,” Keane asked, rubbing her back.

“No, a lot of what I have won’t work with the house, but I brought over plenty. What do you think of the dining room table?” Holly asked, smiling at him. “Does it meet my chef’s approval?”

Keane yanked on her hair. “It’s perfect. I knew the one I got didn’t fit, but I needed something. Plus, I think mine fit pretty good in your condo.”

“I have to agree. You know I came upon that table by accident really. I stopped at this antique place I didn’t even know existed. It’s right out of town in a large house called Anita’s Treasures.” Holly frowned. “Crap, I forgot I wanted to drop of a box of goodies for Anita.”

&nbs
p; “Why? Is something wrong?” Keane asked.

“She’s by herself, raising three kids. Her husband was killed last year. I know she took a cut on that table too.” Holly told him.

“Well, why don’t we stop over after we are finished tonight, or drop it off tomorrow early? Do you have the box of things ready for her?” he asked, strapping Dylan into the carseat as Bax jumped into the car with him.

Keane came over and opened her door for her. She went to get in and he leaned over whispering in her ear, his hand going to her ass and cupping it. “I think this skirt is not an office skirt.”

“Really, and here I thought it was perfect. I mean it did get the boss’ attention now, didn’t it?” Holly teased, getting into his car. “And yes, I have the box pretty much ready.”

Holly watched as her man walked around the car. In the last two days, he couldn’t keep his hands off her, loving her every minute, Holly couldn’t stop staring at him. It was weird. He seemed to know what she wanted most of the time before she did. Not only that, Holly had never eaten so well.

She smiled, remembering last night when the three of them made Christmas cookies. Keane had promised to make her homemade fruit cake when they got back home after Christmas. Yes, her man was special, but Holly was hoping going back to where he used to live would bring up bad reminders. She had already warned her brother to keep the twins away from them while they were there.

  Chapter Sixteen

Keane looked up and glanced around the hall. Dylan was behind him playing with Bax and with Mark’s little boy. The place was packed and his Holly was in her element as she moved through the tables making sure every person had coats, socks and blankets. But what had surprised him was the gifts to the children she had collected over the year.

He swore she had a touch of what her brother has, as each child clung to the toy she had given them. And he sure didn’t like the way some of the men looked at Holly. Frosty served the next person in line smiling at the child as she looked up at her momma.

“Momma, when are we going home?” she asked, and her mom’s eyes filled with tears.

“Soon, we’ll have a new home,” she told her little girl.

Frosty dug in his pocket and pulled out a card. “Here is my business card. Call this number and we’ll get you a job, but for now on the back is a number where you and your family can stay for the next week.”

The woman looked at the card, like it was made out of gold. “But…”

  “It’s a start,” Frosty said.

She took the card, staring at him. “You’ve done this for others, haven’t you?” she asked.

“Go eat and get warm. There will be cars here to take families to the hotel if you choose to,” Frosty said. “It’s going to be below zero tonight and the rest of the week. If I can help, I will.”

“My husband does not want to admit he’s a softy when people are in trouble. But please contact that number. We know a number of people that can help many of you with jobs and places to stay till you can get settled,” Holly said, wrapping her arm around his waist, smiling up at him.

“Thank you, the both of you,” she said and moved down the line.

“Mom and Dad are here with the next load of toys, coats and such. After they unload, they’ll take Dylan for us, since I have a feeling the bigger crowd will be here after dark. Now, are you going to tell me why you were growling, dear sir?” she asked.

Frosty frowned. “I wasn’t…” He looked down to see Dylan standing there with his hand on his leg, petting him almost as if trying to comfort him. He sighed and knelt down next to their son. “I’m sorry little man, your papa is okay. Go gather your things and tell your new friend you’ll see him later. Grandma and Grandpa are here to take you home.” He ruffled the boy’s head and turned him around patting his butt, making him laugh.

He took a deep breath, knowing Holly was not going to be that much of a push over, she’d want an answer. Frosty stood and turned to see Holly standing there waiting. “It’s something I’m not proud of, but I’m going to be a little insecure seeing you around other men. I might act all cave man-like for a while,” he grumbled and pulled her into his embrace.

“Ha, my soras is still growly and a highly jealous man,” Holly’s mom said coming up to them, with said man behind her.

He shrugged. “When you have something so precious that you love so much, well it’s hard seeing that one out in the open, around others. The need to shelter and protect you will always be there.”

His wife turned to him and placed a kiss on his cheek. “I love you,” he heard but the rest was muffled as he smiled and Frosty could tell, his woman had said something sexual by the way his gaze heated up.

Holly pulled on his shirt and he lowered his head. “You are the only man I see in this room that makes my blood warm Keane. I would never be with another you are the man who’s captured my heart.”

“And you, my soras, are the light to my soul,” Frosty said, placing a kiss on her cheek. “Now, let me go help your father and the others get ready for the next wave of people. And stay away from the men,” he grumbled and she laughed, squeezing his arm.

He glanced down to see Dylan there at his side. “You ready to go, little man?” he asked.

He nodded, holding onto his dog, peaking around him. “Not to worry, soon you’ll be safe in our home.” Frosty lifted Dylan up into his arms before grabbing his little suitcase of books and toys.

“Here, I’ll take him now, home. We can watch some Christmas cartoons,” her mom said, reaching out and taking Dylan along with the bag. “Now, don’t take forever unloading that truck because Dylan and I want Grandpa watching movies with us.”

“I’ll be right behind you.” Her father said, leaning over and placing a kiss on her cheek. “It’s up to you Dylan to protect my woman now.”

Frosty couldn’t help but smile when Dylan puffed up his chest and nodded, wrapping his arms around his grandmothers’ neck.

“Great you guys have to start this so early?” Holly grumbled and headed back into the room.

“She never stops,” Frosty said and her father snorted.

“Just like her momma.” Ebenezer said as they moved to the loading zone.

With ten men they had the truck unloaded and the items all stacked up ready for the next batch, when Keane got a bad feeling. He looked around, looking for something, but there was nothing.

“Excuse me,” Frosty said, as he made his way back to the hall, where he saw it. A red haze came over his gaze as he watched and heard a man yelling at his woman, cornering her up against the wall.

Before Frosty knew it, he was standing in front of his woman, growling. “You have two seconds to step back away from my wife and explain yourself before I personally rearrange your face.”

  Chapter Seventeen

Holly could feel Frosty shaking, he was so furious, but right now in front of a room of humans, she didn’t need her soras to explode. “Keane, this is the man who manages the hotel where we are sending people. He is refusing to allow anyone else at his hotel.”

She whispered. “He’s calling all of these people all sorts of things I won’t repeat, but we don’t need you exploding too. I personally think we need to buy the damn hotel and throw his ass out.”

Frosty glanced back at her, his lips twitching, and she could see that sparkle of laughter in his eyes. “What? I mean maybe if he was homeless, he wouldn’t judge so much.” She muttered and shut up, before she caused a bigger scene.

The man snorted. “You don’t have enough to buy my hotel.’

“We’ll see about that,” Keane said, as he pulled out his phone and pushed one button. “Lance, I need you to buy Hotel Marque now and if you can’t, buy up the mortgage on the place, and Lance, price is no object on this one.” Keane smiled. “So, this is how it’s going to go. You can pack up yourself or by the end of the night I will have you physically removed from the place.” Keane handed Holly the phone.

  “Call th
e current owner and inform him what is going on. Tell him if they don’t remove this man from the place, I’ll bury them,” Keane said.

Holly was impressed, and in a matter of 30 minutes Keane now owned a hotel. The hotel’s owner was happy to sell to Keane. The manager was so upset Holly thought for sure he busted a blood vessel in his head as he was escorted out of the hall.

She looked up at Keane who was still staring at the door where the man had been thrown out. “So, you know I was kidding about buying the hotel, right? I mean, I didn’t think you’d actually buy it.” She frowned. “How much money do you have?”

Keane smiled and pulled her into his arms. “Plenty, remember I’ve been here on Earth over 100 years. Plenty of time to build up quite a few nest eggs. But I do believe we need to leave. I think the others can handle this.” Keane leaned in and kissed the side of her neck. “I need you, my soras.”

Holly leaned back and looked up at her husband. The pupils in his eyes were turning yellow and even his face was almost white as a snowman. “Come, let’s say our good-byes. We’ll drop off the box tomorrow morning before we lave.”

She grabbed onto Keane’s hand, never breaking contact with her man as she said her good-byes quickly, before stepping outside. Keane didn’t waste time, taking them straight to their room.

Her clothes disappeared, as her man covered her mouth with his, sliding his fingers down and slipping two of them inside her. “Keane,” she moaned.

“So, sorry, my soras,” he said, before lifting her up, backing into the wall where his cock took the place of his fingers.

Holly grabbed a handful of his hair and pulled his head towards her. “Stop…blaming…and love me…” Holly ground out in between his thrusts.

When Holly heard of having sex quick and hard, but she never imagined this. Both of them were out of control as she buried her nails into his shoulders as she held on. His little nips on her neck, Holly knew she’d have bites marks all over her when they were finished.
