Seeing her one-piece bathing suit in her head, Tamara smiled when it covered her. She sank her feet into the still warm sand from the sun. She had lost the sun, but she’d gained two handsome men even though right now they were being assholes.
She heard a snort behind her and knew that Lydia was there. “You need to stop reading my mind. It’s rude,” she said staring out at the ocean.
“Then you shouldn’t be projecting so much,” Lydia sat down next to her and cocked her head to the side. “You really didn’t plan this, did you?”
“If I’m projecting so much you should know the answer to that,” she snipped.
“I’m sorry, but when I heard you were missing, I was furious at both Lars and Gage. You can’t take off by yourself anymore Lydia. There are others who want what you have who will be watching and waiting for an opportunity to grab you.” Lydia nudged her. “I don’t want to loose my friend.”
She sighed and nodded. “I wish…” Lydia covered Tamara’s mouth with her hand.
“Don’t! Right now you can’t control your gifts and until then, you need to watch what you say.” Slowly, Lydia moved her hand away from her mouth.
“This really sucks.” Tamara pulled her legs up to her chest and laid her head on her knees. “I’ve gone from being scared of Alex finding me, to God knows who is trying to grab me. Some vacation.”
Her friend leaned over and kissed her cheek. “You’ll be fine. Night.” She rose and walked back towards the room.
A plate of food was held in front of her and she shook her head. “I’m not hungry.”
“You need to eat. You’ve used up lots of energy with the challenge and the change,” Lars stated as he sat down on her right side, while Gage sat on her left, holding her plate.
Taking the plate, Tamara ate what she could, feeling a little better when she was done. Above her, the sky lit up, and she smiled as she lay back, watching the display of fireworks. “So where do we go from here? I know you are already planning it out.” She glanced at Lars, then back at Gage.
“We’re going to go to my parents’ house after we leave here. With my father and yours, we’ll decide what to do next.” Lars turned and scooped her up in his arms, sitting her in his lap. “Feed,” was all he said, as he held her tight.
The beat of his pulse made her fangs lengthen and she gripped his arm tight, placing a kiss on his throat before she sank her fangs into his skin. He tasted of something sweet, his blood flowing into her. She closed the holes and rested her head against his chest. “Will we ever be able to relax and have fun? I feel as if I went from one prison to another.”
Taking her feet into his lap, Gage started to rub the soles. “Does being with us really feel like a prison?” he asked and she heard the hint of hurt in his voice.
“You know that’s not what I was talking about.” She reached out and squeezed his shoulder. “You two are the light in this mess.”
“Before we bonded, we asked you something you haven’t answered us.” Lars said, rubbing his chin on her head.
She frowned and thought back. “You mean when you asked me to surrender my independence to you?” Gage nodded and stared at her.
“You already have it. I wouldn’t have given my body to you, if I didn’t love you. I’ve never felt this for anyone.” She leaned up and placed one hand over Gage’s heart and one over Lars’. “You have my heart, the both of you. I just hope you’ll learn that I don’t lie.” She lowered her hands, but both of them captured one each.
“We know you didn’t lie, and we’re sorry. You belong with us, as you surrender your love, so do we. You are the heart that binds us together,” Lars untied the top of her bathing suit and lowered it down, exposing her breasts to their view.
“Your beauty lightens our darkness. You are the cool breeze to our fire.” Gage leaned in and sucked a nipple into his mouth.
“You’re the sun to our moon. We can never loose you, Tamara. Without you, we are nothing. Together we can conquer anything that fate throws at us.” Lars wrapped her hair around his hand, gently yanking her head back.
Blood tears rolled down his cheeks and she reached up, touching them. “Lars…” Her gaze flew to Gage’s and saw that he too had tears running down his face.
“I give you a piece of my heart, the both of you,” she said and they gasped. “I lay my life in your hands as well as my soul.” With those words the three of them were back at their cabin, in their bed, naked.
Lars slid into her pussy in one stroke, settling her over him, while Gage moved behind them and worked his lubed cocked into her ass. “Ours!” They yelled, surging into her.
There were no more words. The night had turned magical as they made passionate love to her over and over. The stars above them had shown bright down upon them, as a promise that their love would last an eternity.
Oh, Tamara knew there would be times when they would be under attack, but nothing would separate them. Each of her men now carried a small piece of her heart inside them, literally.
Tamara Crozier had surrendered her independence into their capable hands.
